Obviously put together with lots of thought, love and care for this beautiful historic villa, an enjoyed home. It is with great thanks that we were able to stay there and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful gardens and lovely villa. It was very well appointed and we enjoyed the touches like the plentiful books and games, the swim towels and everything was to a very good, comfortable standard. The outside spaces were special, several different areas, warm, cool and a sunset view. Adorned with lots of flowers, herbs and a well-maintained garden. Thank you to this beautiful peaceful place." "We had a great time at Villa Adriana and experienced a real island life. The location is convenient. It’s very near Lakka and all the great restaurants of that village. We rented a little scooter which was so helpful to discover the island. The house is peaceful, charming, simple and clean, and matches the description. "What a fantastic house in a fantastic place! The house is in the hills near Lakka in the south of Paxos. Through a steep walk you can walk to the village and the beautiful bay within a few minutes. The authentic house is set in a beautiful garden with lots of privacy with multiple terraces and beautiful views of the bay of Lakka. The house is a lovely family house. Communication with Tine was always smooth and thoughtful. She sent extensive and careful information in advance. Paxos is a beautiful island, with romantic coves with clear blue water, cozy bars and restaurants, beautiful nature and hidden beaches. We had a fantastic week at Villa Adriana!" "Villa Adriana was, for us, the absolutely perfect vacation getaway!
The villa itself is magical, set in a sage-scented olive grove filled with flowers and fruit trees (we picked fresh plums every day!). The location couldn't have been better for what we hoped to find, with short walks to stunning beaches (3 within a 10-minute walk!) or to the charming seaside village of Lakka, where there were plenty of restaurants, stores and services.
Tine was the most responsive and gracious Airbnb host we've ever experienced (with lots of helpful suggestions on Paxos & beyond). That said, the place may not be for everyone. The walks both to town and the beaches are very steep and some, rugged. The house itself is simply--though very comfortably--furnished, and there is a studio also for rent downstairs.
All the same, our favourite place--ever!"

"The setting of the villa was just perfect for us….a daily walk to a mainly deserted beach for a swim and an evening walk into Lakka to our customary seat at the water’s edge for a glass or two of wine. "We loved everything about Villa Adriana & the beautiful island of Paxos. The house has been lovingly restored & is totally charming, both inside & out. There are lovely shaded terraces perfect for dining al fresco or soaking up the sun. The extensive garden is planted with aromatic herbs, sweet scented jasmine, geraniums, roses & vibrant bougainvillea. There were bunches of flowers from the garden in the house to welcome us on our arrival which was a very nice touch. The pavilion at the top of the garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine & watch the sun set over the bay before wandering down the hill for dinner
Villa Adriana is a much loved family home which we have been lucky enough to share for a week. We all came back feeling rested & relaxed, but wishing we could stay for another week. Definitely a place to come back to!" Carol

The gardens with the herbs and wild garlic to forage and eat, hammocks for late afternoon reading, the prefect number of tables dotted around in perfect positions, the welcome pack with feta and honey, the way the light blooms through the windows beyond your toes in the mornings; the two yellow birds who feast on the loquats, the quiet, the great olive wood barbecues, the green walk down to the village and the first sight of the turquoise bay; the beams above the windows.
